Jetstar announces schedule changes - 22/07/2008

Low-cost carrier Jetstar announced Monday it was making schedule changes to its 37 weekly flights through Adelaide, South Australia, and introducing some new one-stop connections through Vietnam and Singapore.

The schedule changes are a result of the carrier’s decision to shut down operations in Adelaide, with services to operate out of other bases within the Jetstar network.

The revised schedule will offer new travel opportunities for Adelaide flyers including a daily daytime service to Darwin (an increase from the previous five flights a week) with Jetstar connections to Ho Chi Minh City and Singapore.

Adelaide-Sydney, Adelaide-Brisbane and Adelaide-Cairns services will experience schedule changes with all affected passengers to be contacted in advance of their flights.

These changes will come into effect from September 1, 2008.

Adelaide is a major Australian city where many Overseas Vietnamese reside.
