VietJet to open Hanoi-Can Tho route on October this year

Private airline VietJet plans to launch a new daily route connecting Hanoi and Mekong Delta city of Can Tho on October 17 this year.

The carrier said in a statement released on Saturday, with seven round-trip flights per week, the route will have a weekly capacity of 2,520 seats,

The daily service will depart from Hanoi at 11am. On the return leg, the flight will depart from Can Tho at 1.45pm.

The flights will take roughly two hours and 10 minutes.

On the occasion of launching the new route, VietJet is offering tickets from only VND9,000 (US$0.43) for all 27 domestic and international routes.

Discounted tickets are on sale between noon and 2pm through September 29.
